Services & pricing

The whole job,
start to finish.

Every European mount we turn out goes through the same three steps — cleaned, whitened and sealed. Here’s exactly what that means, what it costs, and how to get your skull to us.

I.

Skull cleaning

We use hot-water processing combined with precision pressure washing to remove all soft tissue from the skull — nasal passages, brain cavity, orbital sockets — quickly and thoroughly, without damaging the bone.

It’s fast, and it works. Skulls come out clean and ready for whitening, with no grease buildup or residue left behind.

  • MethodHot-water processing and pressure washing
  • RemovesAll soft tissue, including the brain cavity and nasal passages
  • ResultClean, grease-free bone, ready to whiten
II.

Whitening

After cleaning, skulls are whitened with a professional-grade peroxide treatment that brightens the natural bone to a consistent, attractive white.

Unlike bleach, peroxide whitens the bone without compromising its structure — your mount will hold up for decades.

  • MethodProfessional-grade peroxide
  • NeverHousehold bleach, which leaves bone chalky and brittle
  • ResultA bright, even, natural white
III.

Sealing & finishing

A clear matte or satin sealant goes on the finished skull to lock in the whitening and protect the bone from UV, moisture and yellowing over time.

This last step is what separates a professional mount from a DIY job. Your trophy will look right on the wall for years to come.

  2. We clean it

Hot water and pressure washing take it down to clean bone — quickly, and without damage.

  3. Whiten & seal

Peroxide whitening, then a protective clear coat for a bright finish that lasts.

  4. Pick it up

Most mounts are ready in about a week — up to two in the busiest stretch. We’ll let you know when yours is done.

Questions

Good to know.

Don’t see your question? Send us a message.

How long does it take?

Most skulls are finished and ready for pickup within about a week. In the busiest part of the season it can take up to two. We’ll let you know as soon as yours is done.

How should I prep my skull before drop-off?

Remove the cape and hide, and take off as much soft tissue as you reasonably can. If the skull is fresh and you can’t get it to us right away, freeze it.

Where do I drop it off?

We’re in Bellevue, Idaho, in the Wood River Valley. Drop-offs are by appointment — send a message or give us a call and we’ll set a time and give you the address.

Do you take skulls during hunting season?

Yes. We accept skulls year-round, including during season.

Do you use bleach?

No. Bleach breaks down bone and leaves it chalky and brittle. We whiten with professional-grade peroxide, which brightens the bone without weakening it.

Can you handle my animal?

We process all big game harvested in Idaho and the surrounding states. If you’re not sure, just ask.
